| New School | ||||||
| Bloomingtion Evans: A 4th junior high school in the Normal-based Unit 5 school district will open beginning with the start of the 2011-12 school year. The name of the new jr. high school will be George Evans. The school is located in southwest Bloomington and so it will be referred to as Bloomington Evans even though it is in the Normal Unit 5 school district along with Chiddix, Parkside, and Kingsley. They are beginning to schedule contests and have several open dates in all sports.
