Jennifer Costello led a 1-2 Carlinville sweep in the 7AA girls pole vault, winning with a 7AA record vault of 9-4. The old record was 9-3 set by Megan Emmons of Green Valley in 2005. Costello missed three times at 9-6. Her teammate Jenna Wernsing finished second in the event with a vault of 9-0.

Carlinville's 7AA girls team picked up first place finishes in two other field events. Kelsey Car won the discus with a toss of 99-10 and the shot put in 33-9. Katie Graham took the high jump at 4-11. On the day, Carlinville racked up 48 points in the field events.
